(Washington, D.C., July 6, 2024) – Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) issued a statement following the latest report from The Conference Board, which revealed a decline in the Consumer Confidence Index for June 2024. The report underscores the growing concern among Americans about their financial future under the Biden Administration’s economic policies.

"The Conference Board's latest report shows the harsh economic reality under Biden. Since he took office, consumer confidence has plummeted, and inflation has surged by 19.3%, adding thousands in annual expenses for American families," said Rep. Nancy Mace. "The Administration's reckless spending has driven costs sky-high, from energy to transportation, while the national debt soared by $6.86 trillion to $34.61 trillion. Americans deserve better, and it's time to restore fiscal sanity and put taxpayers first."
