Rep. Nancy Mace criticized both Democrats and Republicans for what she termed "reckless spending," attributing the current economic difficulties to their policies.

"This economic nightmare is brought to you by Democrats and Republicans alike who think they can spend their way out of a recession," Mace stated. She noted that inflation, the cost of living, and national debt have all increased, while job growth, stock markets, and retirement accounts have declined.

"The only thing that has gone down is job growth, stock markets and the retirement accounts of hard-working Americans," she added.

Mace's comments come amid ongoing debates about fiscal policy and its impact on the economy.
