Rep. Nancy Mace issued a statement on August 6, 2024, addressing the recent charges against a Pakistani national linked to Iran in a foiled assassination plot.

"This is yet another stunning failure of the Biden-Harris administration's reckless approach to national security. They let a known terrorist sympathizer with ties to Iran waltz into our country, even after his parole expired, putting American lives at risk. It's beyond incompetence—it's a direct threat to our nation's safety, and they must be held accountable."
