The North Charleston Police Department's K-9 Unit recently participated in the International Police Working Dog Association's annual certification seminar. The event was hosted by the Charleston County Aviation Authority Police. During the seminar, each handler and canine team underwent extensive testing in various categories including obedience and control, article searches, area searches, tracking, building searches, and narcotics detection.
"We are proud of our K-9 Unit and congratulate them on another successful annual certification," stated a representative from the department.
