Congresswoman Nancy Mace has expressed her opposition to the Continuing Resolution (CR) for the third time. In a statement, she criticized the bill for maintaining high levels of spending without implementing any cuts or accountability measures.
"I oppose the Continuing Resolution for the third time. This bill signs off on continuing the $1.778 trillion in Biden-Pelosi level spending from the last CR and includes no cuts, and no accountability," Mace stated. She emphasized her dissatisfaction with the legislative process, noting that instead of single-subject bills, Congress is presented with what she describes as a "fiscal trainwreck."
Mace's comments reflect growing concerns among some lawmakers about government spending and fiscal responsibility. As debates continue over budgetary priorities, Mace insists that improvements are necessary: "The American people are watching. We can, and should do better."
